Mississippi High School Baseball - Lamar loses to Winston Academy

The Winston Academy Patriots baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Lamar Raiders to 3 in the Patriots league victory on Friday.
The Patriots (13-7) will now prepare for their match against Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS). The Crusaders go into the MAIS AAAAA District 2 match with a 9-8 record. In their last match, Park Place Christian Academy edged East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS), 10-0, in a league match.
The Raiders (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Leake Academy (Madden, MS). The Rebels go into the MAIS AAAAA District 2 match with a 14-5 record. In their last match, Leake Academy was overwhelmed by Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS), 7-4, in a league match.
