The Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX), 15-5 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Rangers play the Rider Raiders (Wichita Falls, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 1. Lone Star will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 10-8 record after their 5-1 league loss to Saginaw (Saginaw, TX).
