Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Methacton nips Phoenixville

Methacton Warriors (Norristown, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Phoenixville Phantoms (Phoenixville, PA), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Methacton upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Norristown (Norristown, PA) to battle the Eagles in a Pioneer test on Wednesday, April 5. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-2. Norristown lost 8-2 in their recent league test against Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, PA)

With the defeat, Phoenixville falls to 1-1 on the season. The Phantoms travel to Pottstown (Pottstown, PA) to battle the Trojans in a Pioneer test on Monday, April 3. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 2-3. Pottstown lost 12-1 in their recent league test against Spring-Ford (Royersford, PA)
