The Rio Hondo Bobcats baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Monte Alto Blue Devil to 0 in the Bobcats league victory on Friday.
The Bobcats (21-0) will now prepare for their match against IDEA San Benito (San Benito, TX). The Dragons go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, IDEA San Benito was overwhelmed by Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX), 13-1, in a non-league match.
The Blue Devil (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Lyford (Lyford, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region IV District 32 match with a 13-7 record. In their last match, Lyford gained a win over Raymondville (Raymondville, TX), 9-5, in a non-league match.
