North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Laney tipped by Ashley

Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) boosters went home content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC), 7-5 in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Screaming Eagle confront the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a Mideastern contest, on Tuesday, April 4. Ashley will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 16-1 league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC).

The Buccaneers now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Brunswick for a Mideastern contest on Tuesday, April 4. Laney will confront a Scorpions squad coming off a 13-0 league loss to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Scorpions record now stands at 1-9.
