Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Centurions confront the Carolina Academy Trojans (Greenville, SC) in a AAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, April 11. Broome will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 10-0 league loss to Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC).

The Fighting Tigers now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Travelers Rest for a AAA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 4.
