The Central Davidson Spartans baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Asheboro Blue Comets to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.
The Spartans (11-1) will now prepare for their match against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC). The Villains go into the non-league match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Bishop McGuinness gained a win over Dudley (Greensboro, NC), 16-5, in a non-league match.
The Blue Comets (3-6) will now prepare for their match against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights go into the match with a 4-7 record.
