In Friday's non-league contest, the Heritage Pride (Leesburg, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA), by a margin of 20-4.
With the triumph, Heritage moves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Pride travel to Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA) to play the Phoenix in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 11. The Phoenix come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Spartans play the Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 13. Broad Run will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA).
