Orland Trojans (Orland, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Oroville for a challenge on Tuesday, April 4.

With the loss, Gridley falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Las Plumas (Oroville, CA) to face the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 1.
