Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA), 10-6 in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meridian for a Northwestern match on Thursday, April 13.

With the defeat, James Monroe drops to 0-3 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to Fairfax (Fairfax, VA) to play the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, April 1. The Lions go into the match with a record of 0-3. Fairfax lost 7-6 in their recent league match against West Springfield (Springfield, VA)
