In Friday's league battle, the host James Island Trojans soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Hilton Head Island Seahawks.
The Trojans (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Cougars come into the AAAA Region 7 battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Colleton County was overwhelmed by Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 8-0, in a league battle.
The Seahawks (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Bobcats come into the AAAA Region 7 battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Bluffton was overwhelmed by May River (Bluffton, SC), 2-1, in a league battle.
