The New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC) softball nipped the visiting Ahoskie Christian (Ahoskie, NC), 8-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

The (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Pamlico Christian Academy (Grantsboro, NC). The Mariners go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record.
