The Bayshore Bruins (Bradenton, FL) softball routed the host Booker Tornadoes (Sarasota, FL), 20-4 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bruins (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL). The Gladiators go into the non-league bout with a 0-8 record. In their last bout, Gibbs was routed by St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg, FL), 23-2, in a non-league bout.
The Tornadoes now possess a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Manatee for a non-league bout on Monday, April 3. Booker will confront a Hurricanes squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over North Port (North Port, FL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 6-7.
