Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 18-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Worth for a 4A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Decatur will battle a Bullfrogs squad coming off a 15-11 league win over Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX). The Bullfrogs record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Bridgeport falls to 12-10 on the campaign. The Bulls host Springtown (Springtown, TX) to battle the Porcupines in a 4A Region I District 8 challenge on Wednesday, April 5. The Porcupines enter the challenge with a record of 13-11. Springtown lost 19-2 in their recent league challenge against Krum (Krum, TX)
