Texas High School Softball - Broaddus loses to Chireno

The Chireno Owls softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Broaddus Bulldogs to 1 in the Owls league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Chireno improves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Owls host Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A Region III District 23 game on Tuesday, April 4. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 14-2. Colmesneil won 2-1 in their recent league game against West Sabine (Pineland, TX)
