California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles (Concord, CA), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Grizzlies now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dublin for a East Bay challenge on Tuesday, April 11.
With the loss, Clayton Valley Charter falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Ugly eagles host Concord (Concord, CA) to battle the Minutemen in a Diablo - Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Minutemen enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Concord won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA)
