Nordhoff Rangers (Ojai, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Channel Islands Raiders (Oxnard, CA), 19-0 in a league challenge.

The Rangers now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Paula for a Citrus Coast challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Nordhoff will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Channel Islands falls to 1-5 on the season. The Raiders host Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA) to face the Dragons in a non-league match on Monday, April 10. The Dragons go into the match with a record of 10-3. Foothill Tech won 4-2 in their recent league match against Bishop Diego (Santa Barbara, CA)
