The South Jones Braves softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Columbia Wildcats to 3 in the Braves non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, South Jones improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Braves travel to Raleigh (Raleigh, MS) to clash with the Lions in a non-league game on Monday, April 3. The Lions come into the game with a record of 16-6. Raleigh won 18-3 in their recent league game against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS) in a 4A Region 7 game, on Tuesday, April 4. Columbia will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record.
