In Friday's league contest, the Peaster Greyhounds (Peaster, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Comanche Indians (Comanche, TX), by a margin of 14-3.

With the triumph, Peaster moves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Greyhounds host Eastland (Eastland, TX) to play the Mavericks in a 3A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, April 4. The Mavericks come into the contest with a record of 11-12. Eastland lost 22-4 in their recent league contest against Early (Early, TX)

In their next game, the Indians play the Millsap Bulldogs (Millsap, TX) in a 3A Region I District 8 contest, on Tuesday, April 4. Comanche will attempt to move on its 12-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 5-10 record after their 11-0 league loss to Peaster (Peaster, TX).
