Texas High School Softball - Del Rio knocked off by United South

In Friday's league contest, the United South Panthers (Laredo, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Del Rio Rams (Del Rio, TX), by a margin of 20-12.

With the triumph, United South moves its record to 11-11 on the year. The Panthers travel to Alexander (Laredo, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 6A Region IV District 30 contest on Wednesday, April 12. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 13-14. Alexander won 7-4 in their recent league contest against Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX)

In their next game, the Rams play the United Longhorns (Laredo, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 30 contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Del Rio will attempt to move on its 8-12 season record. The Longhorns come into the contest with a 14-9 record after their 8-5 league loss to Eagle Pass (Eagle Pass, TX).
