Richland Royals (North Richland Hills, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Denton Broncos (Denton, TX), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Royals now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Argyle for a 5A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Richland will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 11-5 league win over Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 21-4.

With the loss, Denton falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Broncos host Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX) to battle the Hawks in a 5A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, April 7. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 9-12. Birdville lost 6-0 in their recent league challenge against Grapevine (Grapevine, TX)
