The West Bladen Knights softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host East Bladen Eagles to 1 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, West Bladen moves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Fairmont (Fairmont, NC) to clash with the Golden Tornadoes in a Southeastern Athletic 2A game on Monday, April 3. The Golden Tornadoes come into the game with a record of 6-7. Fairmont won 16-6 in their recent league game against Clinton (Clinton, NC)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 3. East Bladen will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Screaming Eagle come into the game with a 2-10 record after their 12-1 league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC).
