North Carolina High School Softball - East Carteret tipped by Jones

In Friday's league outing, the host Jones Trojans softball team scored a close 11-9 win over the East Carteret Mariners.

Coming up next, the Trojans encounter the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 3. Jones will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Rebels enter the outing with a 8-1 record after their 14-3 league win over Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC).

The Mariners (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league outing with a 4-7 record.
