In Friday's league outing, the host East Central Hornets softball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Judson Rockets.
Coming up next, the Hornets battle the New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 outing, on Tuesday, April 4. East Central will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record. The Unicorns enter the outing with a 14-12 record after their 6-3 league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX).
The Rockets (14-11) will now prepare for their outing against Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Buffaloes enter the 6A Region IV District 27 outing with a 15-8 record. In their last outing, Clemens tipped San Marcos (San Marcos, TX), 16-2, in a league outing.
