El Campo Ricebirds (El Campo, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Sealy Tigers (Sealy, TX), 14-10 in a league challenge.

The Ricebirds now own a 21-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bellville for a 4A Region IV District 25 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. El Campo will battle a Brahmas squad coming off a 12-9 non-league win over Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Sealy falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bellville (Bellville, TX) to battle the Brahmas in a 4A Region IV District 25 challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Brahmas enter the challenge with a record of 5-7.
