Stamford Bulldogs (Stamford, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX), 5-1 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamlin for a 2A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 11.

With the loss, Haskell falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Indians host Hamlin (Hamlin, TX) to face the Pied Pipers in a 2A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Pied Pipers enter the challenge with a record of 17-5. Hamlin won 13-6 in their recent league challenge against Hawley (Hawley, TX)
