North Carolina High School Softball - Huss loses to North Gaston

The North Gaston Wildcats softball team scored 15 runs and restricted the visiting Huss Huskies to 0 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Bessemer City topped Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 12-2, in a non-league battle.

The Huskies now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ashbrook for a Big South 3A battle on Tuesday, April 4. Huss will meet a Greenwave squad coming off a 17-4 league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC). The Greenwave record now stands at 1-9.
