Utah High School Softball - Union bounces Juab

March 31, 2023: Nephi, UT 84648

Union Cougars (Roosevelt, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Juab Wasps (Nephi, UT), 17-4 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pleasant Grove for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 1. Union will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 15-0 league win over American Fork (American Fork, UT). The Vikings record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Juab falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Wasps host North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT) to battle the Hawks in a 3A Region 14 challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 7-0.
