California High School Softball - McClatchy knocked off by Laguna Creek

March 31, 2023: Elk Grove, CA 95758

In Friday's league contest, the Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA), by a margin of 12-1.

With the triumph, Laguna Creek moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Oakmont (Roseville, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 4. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Oakmont won 4-0 in their recent non-league contest against Reno (Reno, NV)

In their next game, the Lions play the River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) in a Metropolitan Conference contest, on Wednesday, April 12. McClatchy will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
