In their next game, the Pirates clash with the George West Longhorns (George West, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 game, on Monday, April 3. Mathis will attempt to improve on its 15-10 season record. The Longhorns come into the game with a 5-13 record after their 18-7 league loss to Odem (Odem, TX).
