The Wayne Badgers softball team scored 21 runs and limited the host Monticello Buckaroo to 6 in the Badgers league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Wayne moves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Badgers host South Sevier (Monroe, UT) to clash with the Rams in a 2A game on Tuesday, April 11. The Rams come into the game with a record of 5-5.
In their next game, the Buckaroo clash with the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs (Gunnison, UT) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 4. Monticello will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 18-7 non-league loss to Emery (Castle Dale, UT).
