In Friday's league contest, the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) softball team the visiting Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC), by a margin of 5-2.

With the triumph, South Columbus moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Stallions travel to West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC) to play the Vikings in a Waccamaw 1A/2A contest on Monday, April 3.
