North Carolina High School Softball - Tuscola bounces Smoky Mountain

Spectators at Friday's league match between the Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC) and the visiting Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), witnessed Tuscola's softball squad prevail over Smoky Mountain by a count of 12-1.

The Mountaineers now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Henderson for a Mountain Seven 3A match on Tuesday, April 4. Tuscola will face a Falcons squad coming off a 9-6 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Smoky Mountain moves to 1-10 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Pisgah (Canton, NC) to face the Bears in a Mountain Seven 3A match on Tuesday, April 11. The Bears go into the match with a record of 6-5.
