South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC), 20-2 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Roxboro Community for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 3. South Granville will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Vance County falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Vipers host Louisburg (Louisburg, NC) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 3. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 2-8. Louisburg lost 20-2 in their recent league challenge against Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC)
