The Wells Leopards softball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Whittell Warriors to 3 in the Leopards league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Wells moves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Leopards host White Pine (Ely, NV) to face the Bobcats in a non-league match on Friday, April 7. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 0-7. White Pine lost 5-4 in their recent league game against Awaken Christian (Las Vegas, NV)

Next, the Warriors face the Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV) in a 1A Northern match, on Friday, April 7. Whittell will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Muckers go into the match with a 3-7 record after their 11-9 non-league loss to Sparks (Sparks, NV).
