The Bell City Bruins baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Singer Hornets to 0 in the Bruins non-league win on Monday.
The Bruins now own a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beau Chene for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 2. Bell City will play a Gators team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to St. John (Plaquemine, LA). The Gators record now stands at 8-15.
With the defeat, Singer drops to 4-12 on the year. The Hornets travel to Starks (Starks, LA) to play the Panthers in a C District 5 test on Tuesday, April 1. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 4-9.
