The Cherokee Chiefs baseball squad (Cherokee, OK), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Waukomis Chiefs (Waukomis, OK)

With the triumph, Waukomis moves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Drummond (Drummond, OK) to confront the Bulldogs in a Skeltur contest on Thursday, April 3. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 15-1. Drummond won 14-0 in their recent non-league bout against Glencoe (Glencoe, OK)

The Chiefs (1-9) will now prepare for their bout against Waynoka (Waynoka, OK). The Railroaders enter the non-league bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Waynoka edged Okeene (Okeene, OK), 8-4, in a non-league bout.
