The North Springs Spartans baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Clarkston Angoras to 0 in the Spartans league win on Monday.
The Spartans now hold a 7-15 record. They take the field next when they host Tucker for a AAAA Region 5 test on Thursday, April 3. North Springs will play a Tigers team coming off a 15-0 league win over Lithonia (Lithonia, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-18.
With the defeat, Clarkston drops to 0-13 on the year. The Angoras host Northview (Johns Creek, GA) to play the Titans in a AAAA Region 5 test on Thursday, April 3. The Titans go into the test with a record of 9-14. Northview lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Marist (Atlanta, GA)
