Texas High School Baseball - Muleshoe wallops Friona

The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX) and the host Friona Chieftans (Friona, TX), saw Muleshoe's baseball team beat Friona by a margin of 14-3.

The Mules (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX). The Eagles enter the 3A Region I District 2 battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Roosevelt was overwhelmed by Littlefield (Littlefield, TX), 14-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Chieftans face the Dimmitt Bobcats (Dimmitt, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 battle, on Saturday, April 5. Friona will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 9-8 record after their 11-1 league win over Slaton (Slaton, TX).
