The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Waurika Eagles (Waurika, OK) and the host Grandfield Bearcats (Grandfield, OK), saw Waurika's baseball team gain a win over Grandfield by a tally of 11-5.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Thackerville (Thackerville, OK). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Thackerville held off Springer (Springer, OK), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bearcats face the Cyril Pirates (Cyril, OK) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 10. Grandfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
