The Haynesville Golden Tornado baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers to 1 in the Golden Tornado league win on Monday.

The Golden Tornado now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Simsboro for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. Haynesville will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 16-2 non-league win over Plain Dealing (Plain Dealing, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 14-11.

With the defeat, Jonesboro-Hodge drops to 9-7 on the year. The Tigers host Ringgold (Ringgold, LA) to clash with the Redskins in a 1A District 1 test on Tuesday, April 1. The Redskins go into the test with a record of 4-9. Ringgold lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Castor (Castor, LA)
