The Hoover Huskies baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Shady Spring Tigers to 0 in the Huskies non-league win on Monday.
The Huskies now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sissonville for a test on Tuesday, April 1. Hoover will play a Indians team coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, WV). The Indians record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Shady Spring drops to 3-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Ripley (Ripley, WV) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 4-2. Ripley won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV)
