Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) supporters were in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball team hold off the host Bella Vista Broncos (Fair Oaks, CA), 2-1 in a league contest.
The Bruins (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA). The Falcons enter the contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Christian Brothers got by Woodcreek (Roseville, CA), 2-1, in a league contest.
Next, the Broncos meet the Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) in a contest, on Wednesday, April 2. Bella Vista will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 2-11 record after their 2-0 league loss to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA).
