Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the visiting Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (Youngstown, OH), 12-11 in a league game.

With the victory, Boardman advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Spartans host Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA) to play the Ramblers in a non-league game on Thursday, April 3. The Ramblers come into the game with a record of 1-1. Cathedral Prep won 17-4 in their recent league game against Meadville (Meadville, PA)

The Cardinals now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Hoban for a Region 6 game on Wednesday, April 2. Cardinal Mooney will play a Knights team coming off a 17-15 non-league win over Highland (Medina, OH). The Knights record now stands at 4-4.
