Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Lejeune moves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Devil Pups host Jones (Trenton, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A test on Friday, April 4. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 1-7. Jones lost 5-1 in their recent league battle against Southside (Chocowinity, NC)

Next up, the Blue Devils battle the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a East Central 2A battle, on Tuesday, April 1. South Lenoir will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC).
