Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), saw Hickory's soccer squad hold off Great Bridge by a count of 2-1.

The Hawks (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Kellam tipped Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
