In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Kent Island Buccaneers softball team scored a tight 7-5 victory over the Queen Anne's County Lions.
The Buccaneers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against North Caroline (Ridgely, MD). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, North Caroline by Easton (Easton, MD), 21-3, in a non-league match.
