The Oliver Ames Tigers lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the host Middleborough Sachems to 5 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin for a Hockomock challenge on Wednesday, April 2.
With the loss, Middleborough falls to 0-1 on the year. The Sachems travel to Apponequet Regional (Lakeville, MA) to clash with the Lakers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Lakers go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Apponequet Regional won 13-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA)
