In Monday's non-league test, the Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Blevins Hornets (Blevins, AR), by a count of 15-0.
Next, the Eagles meet the Spring Hill Bears (Hope, AR) in a 2A Region 7 test, on Tuesday, April 1. Cutter-Morning Star will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 3-5 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Hope (Hope, AR).
The Hornets (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Kirby (Kirby, AR). The Trojans go into the 1A Region 7 test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Kirby was routed by Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR), 13-0, in a league test.
