In Monday's league test, the Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Palmyra Cougars (Palmyra, PA), by a tally of 12-1.

Next, the Thundering Herd clash with the Red Land Patriots (Lewisberry, PA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 2. Carlisle will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 5-2 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA).

The Cougars (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA). The Falcons go into the Mid-Penn - Keystone test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Lower Dauphin prevailed over Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, PA), 10-0, in a league test.
